From July 20 to 23, 2025, the 4th Transportation Research Congress (TRC2025) was held at the Beijing International Convention Center. The conference was co-organized by the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) and other universities and research institutions, with the National Center for Materials Service Safety (NCMS), University of Science and Technology Beijing serving as the host. Over 300 representatives from universities, research institutions, and enterprises from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hong Kong (China), and other countries and regions attended the conference.

The Transportation Research Congress (TRC) was established in 2016 to become a "think tank for transportation innovation" and provide a platform for international academic exchange. The theme of this conference covered both traditional transportation fields and interdisciplinary areas, including highways, railways, airports, traffic management, and intelligent driving. Participants exchanged views on "sustainable, resilient, and smart future transportation" during the conference.
